Q: Is this removable? I want to use this in a rental storage unit that has smooth, untextured concrete and I can't get grip for my trailer tug. I may need to remove it upon move out.
6 months ago- A: The Highland Trailer Sure Step Rubber Mat is designed to be a permanent, self-stick application and is not easily removable from a concrete surface after installation. The product uses a strong 3M adhesive to "adhere anywhere a non-skid surface is needed" and is designed to "stay put" permanently. Attempting to remove it from the smooth concrete floor of your rental storage unit would likely damage the mat, leave a residue on the concrete, or both, which would not be ideal for a move-out condition.6 months agoHelpful?
Q: Would this be a good rubber to support the weight of a 900lb motorcycle on a pittsburgh 1500lb motorcycle lift? The 2 lifting portions are 3"x13.25" so this would fit niceley with minimal cutting
11 months ago- A: Hello, thank you for your question. Here is the information we received from the vendor: The Reese Secure Bumper Step Pad (Part #9547400) is designed to provide a non-skid surface for trailer wheel wells, steps, and ramps. It measures 4 inches wide by 17.5 inches long, is weather-resistant, UV-resistant, and features a strong adhesive backing for easy application. Regarding its suitability for supporting a 900 lb motorcycle on a Pittsburgh 1,500 lb motorcycle lift: • Weight Capacity: The step pad is not designed to bear significant weight loads. Its primary function is to provide traction and prevent slipping, not to support heavy loads. • Material Strength: While the rubber material is durable for its intended purpose, it may not have the structural integrity required to support the concentrated weight of a motorcycle. Recommendation: For supporting a 900 lb motorcycle, it's advisable to use materials specifically designed for heavy-duty applications.11 months agoHelpful?
