- A: Our units are great for spot cooling and will have the most effect in the areas directly in front or using the swing function broaden coverage. On high heat days it will alleviate the ambient temps on higher humidity days you may want to run the pump a while then turn off as you could build up more humidity and create a hot humid environment. Always open a door or window to allow fresh air in and to help reduce humidity levels. We have a large number of customers that use these units for barns and kennels.6 years agoHelpful?

This was a huge disappointment. It left us feeling like we were in a swimming pool the air was so thick and warm. It may work better in an arid climate, but definitely not for an already humid one.

Works great to help cool down A two car garage in 90 deg dry weather with garage door open. Also great on a patio to cool down sitting area. Water does evaporate fast on high ,1-2 hrs. For longer use attach hose.
