- A: Hi. To clarify, HEET Gas Antifreeze (yellow bottle) is NOT to be used in Diesel fuel and/or Diesel engines. The product to use is ISO-HEET (red bottle). Once ISO-HEET is added, it can take 20-45 minutes to dilute into the fuel and start breaking up and absorbing water. Once the engine is turned on, this excess water will be expelled during combustion. Hope this helps. Works Great for over 40 years But ???

Heet is the go to product for water removal in the Winter Time and it will save your Starter and Battery but watch that Foil Seal. It’s very easy to break off and get part of it down the filler neck and cause the fuel pump issues and refilling problems to. Gold Eagle recommend you put a pull tab on the bottle to illuminate the issue.

I have tried everything, thought my vehicle was done for the way it was running, hiccups, sputtering, and then I put a bottle of this in and all these symptoms went away!
