I’ve had this stand for 3 years now and hunted out of it several times. The seat is very comfortable for all day sits. The platform is big and makes me feel safe. The platform does not have a foot rest, but it is customizable, and there are plenty of videos on YouTube to help with this. The backpacks straps that come with it are silk and crap quality for walking in the woods. There’s no built-in way to carry your climbing sticks, so I use the ratchet straps to secure them to the platform. I use a ratchet strap at the top and the bottom for security and stability. The seat does not have a leveling feature. The seat raises up to give you extra room when you’re standing, but there’s no way to keep it locked in the up position unless you finagle it yourself.

I really like this product. standing platform is rigid, and quiet. I gave it 4 stars because I think it needs more strapping than just the one hang on strap supplied. I put two more ratchet straps on to stabilize the hang on. I would not have felt comfortable without them. for my application, this stand will be left in place and not backpacked in.

I have 2 of these stands. Lightweight and solid. We use an extra ratchet strap the really secure it and hold it rock solid. But…… Hawk has not had replacement cam straps available for 2 years and I’m guessing they never will. What’s the problem Hawk??

These units are sturdy ! Easy to install with the Cruzr tree bracket so much better than the cam over strap it comes with. You definitely need an additional ratchet strap on the bottom .
