I like the design and the seat cushion. It would be great if it was aluminum. It’s not terribly heavy but when toting it for a long distance.

Used all summer for practice with my bow and just got back from first hunting trip with the seat. Overall the seat added a lot of comfort. As others have pointed out, there are just a few things I will be changing and would like to see change if there is ever a "gen 2". First, the strap is too short. The area I was in had relatively large trees. The strap that comes with the seat only fits smaller trees. Not too big of a deal as swapping out a ratchet and strap is cheap and easy, but would rather have it come with what I need from the factory. There were several spots I could not use it due to the size restriction. Second, the ratchet ticking is pretty loud when you are trying to be quiet. Not sure what would be a better option though, but if anything else could sinch the seat down and force the teeth to bite the tree but be quieter it would be great. Recommend everyone add some stealth strip to take the "ting" out when you bump it. Overall I am happy with this seat and will keep using it. Just have to make some minor modifications.

I bought this a few months ago and have been happy with it over the season, the things I would change are easy fixes. First switch out the rachet strap out for a cam lock strap so its quieter for mobile hunting if that's your thing, I also put the pin in backwards the way it was sent to me so you can first strap it to the tree and then adjust the angle of the seat. Haven't had any issues with it otherwise. I wish the seat was a little bit smaller, but the seat foam is a life saver for all day hunts.

Used for first time recently. However, ratchet broke when fastening to tree. Ratchet not strong enough.
