Sharpie pens are indelible...

I have found Sharpie pens are actually indelible on these bands. They are great for me because I spiral line breed my flock and I can easily keep three teams and breed based on schedule, strictly cull to maintain bloodlines - the rest for meat

Writing does not stay

Even with permanent marker, the writing comes right off. Other than that they are a nice way to tell who is who in your flock. Especially when you have children and all your chickens have names!
