An air filter perfect for pairing with sanding and power carving. The G9955 Benchtop Dual Fan Air Filter is a point-of-use filter, designed specifically to filter fine airborne dust particles.
Two separately switched fan motors can be used to draw a maximum 400 CFM of your dusty shop air though the 5-micron pleated filter.
The clear plastic hood helps to direct flow from the work area directly into the filter.
Like all Grizzly dust filters, the G9955 comes with a 1-year warranty.
The G9955 manual was written by our U.S.-based Technical Documentation Department and is packed with useful information. The complete and easy-to-read manual provides full instructions on how to assemble and maintain your filter.
Parts for the filter may be available online and shipped from the Grizzly parts warehouse in Springfield, MO.

My shop I have really got it pretty well dust contained but thought I would try this so when I'm using a DA or and handheld sander that creates a lot of fine dust it would help being that you can put it right up against what your sand. Anything that helps when it comes to dust protect your lungs. The only downfall is the price of the filters for as small as they are they cost too much and it is loud a lot more than my ceiling units and they are 1200 CFMs!

For the Litter Box!

I'm a woodworker who has used several Grizzly machines over the years, including dust collectors and ambient air filters. However, this item wasn't purchased for my wood shop but for inside our home to suck up dust created by sifting our cats' litter box! I place the unit right next to the litter box when I sift and the cloud of dust that normally settles all over the house is now drawn in to this little machine. No more litter dust! It's a little noisy but is only on for a minute or two every day. Well-made product for a reasonable price. I highly recommend for any small dust filtration need.

Powerful, versatile desktop dust collector

I bought this dust collector as part of the recommended equipment for a power-carving class I took. It is great for sanding, using my Dremel, or my AutoMach carvers. I also used it extensively while augmenting my project with pyrography.
I have severe asthma, and was amazed that when I used it, my current flare settles. The 5 micron filter seemed to resist the pollen as a side benefit!
I left es the outlets on the side, so I could power the automach carver, as well as the Dremmel and wood burner.
It was similar in size as other units there, and its 21.5 pounds was actually lighter than comparable models.
Highly recommend.

Wobbly quaility

Its not the best construction at all. Sent the first one back as it was over 1/2 out of square. Kept the second one because I needed a filter. It was an 1/4+ out of square. There seems to be little quality control. I means the fans turn but it doesn't sit flat.
