The 2 HP motor of the G0869 10 in. 2 HP Benchtop Table Saw electronically manages torque and blade speed to direct more power to the motor when cutting into dense or thick wood. This helps prevent burning, yields a smoother cut, and saves energy. Variable-speed controlling from 2000-4200 RPM allows you to cut materials such as laminates and plastics too. Features a narrow-rip fence flips down to make room for push sticks when cutting thin or narrow material. Macro and micro fence adjustments are quick and precise with the rack-and-pinion track system. It takes a few turns of the handwheel to adjust the blade to its full cutting height of 3-1/8 in. . The best jobsite table saw on the market at this price. At just over 60 lbs. , the G0869 has the mass and power to perform as well as larger, more costly saws, yet is light enough to easily move around the shop or job site. The 26-3/8 in. x 22-1/4 in. table is made from aluminum which serves 2 purposes; it won't rust outdoors or on wet job sites and it is lighter/easier to move around. With onboard storage for all the accessories, such as the quick-change riving knife, push stick, miter gauge, and blade wrench, you'll have everything right at hand wherever the job takes you. Even if your shop is on the road. A bonus feature is this saw's ability to be converted into a disc sander when the optional T30883 Sanding Disc Kit is installed. Made in an ISO 9001 factoryUL listed. The manual was written by our U.S.-based Technical Documentation Department and is packed with useful information. The complete and easy-to-read manual makes it easier to assemble and maintain your machine. The Customer Service and Technical Support Teams are also U.S.-based. Parts for this machine may be available online and shipped from the parts warehouse in Springfield, MO.

    Poor riving knife design

I like the power and how everything is self contained. However the design and engineering of the riving knife and the blade guard are very poor. The lever to to change the riving knife is not very accessible and you can't really disengage it because the gaurd is in the way of the lever. Also the blade guard attachment is very poorly aligned with the blade to the point where it's virtually unusable. This is my first experience with Grizzly it may be my last.

No, I do not recommend this product.

    Grizzly G0869 Outstanding Saw

Had this Grizzly G0869 now for a month. Love It!!! Vertical and horizontal alignments are spot on. Did numerous 50 inch Rip cuts though 3 inch black walnut with ease. Best table saw I have ever owned. The people who made & assembled this saw did an Outstanding job!

    Yes, I recommend this product.

    two missing features

I bought this about a month ago and it is a MAJOR improvement over my Chicago Electric (CE) saw; I wish I had bought this a long time ago! However, there are two features that CE had that I wish Grizzly had. I could move the fence to the left of the blade. Don't need to do that often, but on occasion it is necessary for an oddball cut. The other is the blade height wheel had gear teeth on it that engaged with the saw body, so when pushed in the teeth engaged and an exact blade angle could be dialed in. With the Grizzly, it is a matter of getting close then bumping the wheel back and forth to get to an exact angle. So, glad I bought it, but these two items would be an improvement.

    Yes, I recommend this product.

    Nice little power saw

A fine piece of equipment. A greybearded senior (me) can lift and move it, even without the stand. Accurate - once calibrated, 90-degree vertical cuts and 45-degree bevel cuts are simple and true. The rack-and-pinion fence is a convenience and timesaver. I bought it mainly for a flooring project; it has made molding a breeze, flooring sometimes a press-to-fit tolerance. Power enough for all tasks so far, including ripping inch-thick boards to width and cutting 2x4s for framing. I'm hoping to get twenty or thirty years from it, we shall see.

    Yes, I recommend this product.
