The Great Day Tote Caddy Adapter is designed to work with the Tote Caddy on vehicles whose receiver hitches are either higher or lower than the workable range of Tote Caddy (14 in. to 20 in.). The Tote Caddy adapter corrects this problem in an instant. Made of aircraft aluminum and finished with super-tough powder-coat enamel, this Great Day adapter is very durable. The Great Day Tote Caddy adapter is designed to work with vehicles that have a 2 in. receiver.

    My 2017 Honda CR-V hitch measures just about 13 inches so got the adapted but didn't really get much of an improvement on the height for the trash can, it still drags on the wheels, but better than dragging it out to the end of road

    Great for its intended purpose - just don’t use it for trailer pulling applications. It’ aluminum and I’m sure it can’t handle those applications. Good fit & finish.
