The hitch mounted cargo carrier conveniently fits through most doorways and the tight turning radius makes this cart invaluable when packing for trips. Just take the cargo carrier cart to your items, load it's large, 48 x 20 x 11 in., cargo area and then transport everything in one trip to your vehicle. You don't even have to unload the cart! Great Day has designed the hitch mounted cargo carrier to install into the receiver hitch of your vehicle. And you can still access the tail gate or lift gate with no problem. You will need a 2 in. receiver hitch to attach the Hitch-N-Go Cart.

Great cart system!

So far cart and attachment system work well. Cart is light and travels easily but tubular frame could be slightly stronger. If you have a low bumper like my transit van does you will need a riser. I use a 10’ and it clears all the steep parking lot entrances fine.

Overrated and way overpriced

1- There is an angle between the winch coupling and cart receiver, makes it impossible for them to slide. took me an hour to uncouple. Created a big scratch that stops it from sliding 2- Winch could barely keep up with 80% of weight limit (i had 280lb of mulch) and it couldn't take, it. Probably due to same reason above 3. Holes for lock/chank don't align 4. Steering axle assembly frequently gets stuck due to screw protruding outside 5- Not universal, only 2 of 3 cars I have could take it, the winch is rather bulky 6- Very poor provided instructions. Had to download PDF which makes it better but wish there were video instructions 7- make sure you have a whole wrench set, good luck reaching bolts described in step 3. 8- Poor finishing; handle had a steel chip that cut my wrist. Also handle bends easily at its attachment I honestly think it is way over priced, product won't hold long even if it worked. They charge for the patent which is a nice idea, but i wish they would have nailed the finishing

Terrible Don't Waste Your Money, Previously Return

Item was partially assembled. It clearly had been returned and restocked. Holes for wheel brackets were not drilled, It did not include screws to attach the wheel brackets, not enough washers included. The directions are terrible. Not worth the money, don't bother!

Needs an extender

Assembly was nice and easy, it's sturdy enough to do what I need it to for camping, but the winch post is very tall and the handle faces the tailgate so it didn't work on our vehicle till I got an extension. Glad I got an extension with a rise as well or it would get caught on speed bumps .
