Q: That is absurd you don’t provide a sprayer, and the customer doesn’t find that out until they get the product home. If you are going to cheap out like that, make it clear on the front label. And please enlighten us - where do you actually get a sprayer?

1 Answer
  • Product Specialist
A: Sprayers can be purchased at most farm or hardware stores. Depending on the pests you are targeting, Total Farm Dust may be a better product for your situation, as you can apply it using the container - no additional equipment is needed.

Q: Wbat are tbe application directions for goats and can this be used to treat their stall?

1 Answer
  • A: Gordon's Ready-to-Use Goat and Sheep Insecticide Spray, 1 gal. is intended for direct application on the goats, but is generally a surface treatment only for premises. For treating the animals' stalls or pens, the manufacturer recommends using a different product, Gordon's Permethrin 10 Livestock & Premise Spray, which is a concentrate designed for broader area application once mixed.

  • A: Hello, thank you for your question. Goat and Sheep Spray is a surface treatment, not a systemic treatment. As such, there is no withdrawal period for milk produced by goats treated with this product. When applying, do not apply to sensitive areas or areas that may allow the introduction of the product into the system of the animal either directly or by consumption (for example: grooming areas). There are no restrictions for sending goats or sheep to slaughter after using this product.

Works great

Love this spray for my goats and sheep. Helped more with mites/lice than it did flies. Have to reapply once every three or so days for flies.

Yes, I recommend this product.

Goat fly spray

Honestly I haven’t used it because it didn’t come with a sprayer of any sorts. It’s sitting in barn. Maybe at some point.
