- A: Horse and Pony Spray is intended for horses, foals and ponies, it is not labeled for use on dogs. Gordon's Permethrin 10 has instructions for application to dogs and is labeled to kill many species of fly, however botfly is not on the label.3 years agoHelpful?

Q: I'm trying to figure out if this is ready to use as a daily fly spray or are you supposed to dilute it with water if your are going to use it as a full body spray on your horse. My horse is sensitive. If diluted what is the ratio for a 32 oz spray bottle?

This is one of my favorite fly sprays, but there is a difference in how long it lasts, depending on whether it's oil-based or water-based. I find it to be effective for fly and mosquito repellant.
