The Frost King Automatic Electric Heat Cable Kits is 18 ft. long, 120V x 7 Watts/ft. This energy-saving electric water pipe heat cable helps protect your cold-water and hot-water pipes from freezing. The heat cable has a grounded safety plug and a built in thermostat. The thermostatically controlled cable will cycle on and off as needed for the ambient temperature. For indoor use only, use on metal or plastic PVC pipes.

    It saved me.

    It saved me. This is my first time spending the full winter in this ancient house. Previously I had winterized for at least a month each year. But boy was I unprepared for some of the weather we had in December. All of my water froze. A last-second trip to TSC on Christmas Eve -- to get this heating tape -- and now I can get water in the house and my pipes aren't freezing. Without this, it would have been a looooong winter.

    Yes, I recommend this product.
