Q: Do you open the pouch or leave it in. After 30 days can you spread the stuff around out side of the building.?

- A: Hello Huggy Bear. Once you remove the pouch from the box, remove the cellophane wrapper and place the pouch just like it is. Don't open, cut it, or remove the cardboard header. When the pouch no longer has a scent, we recommend that you dispose of it. Once the oils dry up, the corn cob then becomes a food source so we do not recommend spreading it around outside. The fragrance oil is a multi-component mixture of fragrance ingredients that conforms to the 48th Amendment of the International Fragrance Association (IFRA) guidelines. The IFRA guidelines for the safe use of fragrance ingredients are based on an evaluation by independent experts of all toxicological and dermatological data relating to ingredient concentrations and exposure. Fresh Cab is designed to deter rodents, not eliminate them, and it can take some time for mice to recognize that the scent is a permanent part of the environment and move on. While the initial fragrance is strongest during the first few days, the active botanical oils continue working for up to 30 days. For best results, we recommend placing enough pouches to cover the space, positioning them near areas of rodent activity or entry points, and replacing them every 30 days.

This works very well. We use it in our out buildings and mice no longer visit. We store out outdoor furniture in a plastic sheds and never get mice making homes or chewing our cushions. And no dead mice to stink and have to dispose of.

Quick easy bug repellent with a fresh scent

I use earth kind fresh cab in my truck cab, tucked under the seat. I work in landscaping, so my truck can smell pretty rough after a day of work, but this makes it smell, clean and fresh. It also keeps mice away, and it’s easy to use with nowhere chemicals. Definitely five stars from me.
