Fortress could do better
a year ago
If these hinges fit the Fortress 2 inch post I would rate them 5*; however, they were about 1/8” too small and a real pain to force to be wider and install on the post, then subsequently adjust the gate height to match the installation instructions.

Not recommended for a very heavy gate.

Please note that this hinge will not allow the gate to open fully back against the fence. It only opens a little past straight out and puts a tremendous amount of stress on the hinge as it hits it's limit due to the weight of the gate. Also the bolt is a little undersized for the hole allowing the two holes to not be perfectly aligned. The bolt size is smaller than a normal pinion hinge. Not sure if it will hold up over time without getting bent.
