Do I need to purchase any additional equipment to obtain the solar from the panel?  If so what.  Or do I just plug in my appliance and use free power.  Will his run a barn fan?

Asked by: Mdiane
No additional equipment is required for the solar panel. You will plug your appliance into the battery which is charged by the solar panel for power. No this panel will not run a barn fan.

I’m wanting a unit that I can take to the cemetery to light a one string Christmas tree, would this work?

Asked by: Niedeb
Yes, this product should work well for Christmas lights. However, most Christmas lights are wired for an AC (alternating current) and this product puts out a DC (direct current). To make sure these are compatible, you may need to also purchase an inverter to convert the DC to appliance-friendly AC.

What happens to the power that is not being used

Asked by: Jackie34
After the battery is full of charge the power from the solar panel just sets there but it’s not going to damage anything. These solar panels don’t have a on/off type system.
