1 Answer
  • A: You could charge the battery, but it would take a very long time due to the solar panel only putting out 0.7W of power.

Q: Want to plug in a 36 in LED christmas wreath. Is there a plug to plug in and will it hold a daily charge for the wreath to stay lit all night?

1 Answer
  • A: The solar panel is used to trickle charge a small 12 volt deer feeder battery, there is no plug to plug in to, it has clips to slide on battery terminal, this will not work as a steady charger for something to run full time!

Q: Can a regulator be used to charge a 12v battery and power a load?

1 Answer
  • A: No the solar panel only provides a slow trickle charge back to the battery for charging purposes, it will not keep one charged with an all the time power load. It is designed for a deer feeder that the motor only runs for a few seconds to a minute and then cuts off so no continuous power load.

Q: Iam buying an electric trickle for an adult will this charge the battery lithium

1 Answer
  • A: The manufacturer advised that they are not sure how the solar panel will be of use in this scenario based on the information provided. The solar panel is a trickle charger for a 12 volt rechargeable battery. They advised that they aren't sure if lithium batteries are actually rechargeable, but if your battery in question is a 12 volt rechargeable battery, and it can be wired into the solar panel, it might work. We're sorry that this may not be much help, but they really can't answer the question with 100% accuracy without knowing exactly what kind of lithium battery it is and or if it is rechargeable, or how it is recharged.

Insufficient to be called a solar panel.

Not adequate to do anything other than trickle charge the smallest battery in the world. Still not found. Technology has surpassed this in 1945.

Mounting bracket confusion

Can’t figure out how the panel fits on the mounting bracket? No directions. 3 stars because it seems to be built well. “0” stars as I can’t mount it so haven’t used it.

Not just for work!

I have a garden railroad and run all my lighting and switches off a 12 volt 5 watts Duracell battery. About once a week I have to recharge my batteries, and it’s takes time away from running my railroad empire. I installed it on the roof of the building holding battery. Now it stays charged all the time. I am going to show it to all our club members.

Yes, I recommend this product.
