Flex Seal LIQUID MAX is a thick rubberized liquid that you can brush, roll, dip or pour. It starts out as a thick liquid and dries to a strong, flexible, watertight, rubberized coating. Seals out air, water and moisture and is mildew, chemical and UV resistant. Available in black, white, clear, and gray. - A: Hello Neighbor! I do not know how deep your pool is. I would purchase 3 of this product and have some left over possibly. You can return to the store an unopened container for 30 days.a year agoHelpful?
Q: We wanted to use this on south facing old wood siding that has started to leak. Can it be painted over with exterior paint?

- A: per the manufacturer's page: Flex Seal Spray can then be painted over with almost all commercially available paints and urethanes. Flex Seal Liquid cannot be top coated with anything other than Flex Seal Liquid, however, you can add as many coats as you like. Since this is the liquid version, it can not be painted over with exterior paint.2 years agoHelpful?

Product works, but despite my securely closing the lid between usage, a portion of the remaining contents start to solidify, requiring removal of that portion to get to useable material.

Looks Like it Will do the Job

The clear coat went on easily and sealed up the seams in my basement cinderblock wall, keeping out rainwater. The Flex Seal couldn't be cleaned from my brush, so I switched to cheap throw-away brushes. During painting and curing, Flex Seal had a very strong odor which permeated the entire house and took 2 days to disperse, even with open windows in the work area and vent fans going full blast. The dried coat is glossy, which makes the painted area reflective and look wet; a flat finish would be much better and non-glare. The Flex Seal liquid did not require mixing, just open the can and apply.
Yes, I recommend this product.
