FLEX SEAL sprays out as a thick liquid, seeps into cracks and holes, and dries to a watertight, flexible, rubberized coating. FLEX SEAL coats, seals, protects and will even stop leaks fast! Available in 12 vibrant colors, this mini spray can of FLEX SEAL is perfect for minor sealing jobs. Each mini spray can holds 2 oz.

Q: Need to stop a very small leak on my boat, leaking at a rivet. Would it stop a small leak if I sprayed in on the inside of the hull at the rivet? Thinking of cleaning the rivets area really well and just spraying the whole line of rivets in that area.

- A: Please see the answer from the manufacture below. We offer a few products that could be used for this application. You can base your decision of which product to use based on the following benefits and features of the products: Flex Shot – This product comes in a variety of colors such as gray, black, white, and almond. One of those might match your surface. If they do not, you might consider the Flex Shot in Clear. Why is this a good product for this application? This product is very forgiving, that means it can be removed easier than other products we offer so if you ever need to remove and or tighten those rivets, you will be able to remove the seal easily by peeling it from the surface. It is possible to remove this product without damaging the surface to which it is adhered. This product needs to be applied to a clean dry surface. It is thick like caulk and can be retooled within 20 minutes of being applied. It will not shrink or crack. Please allow 24 hours for the product to dry completely before introducing water. Flex Seal Spray – This product can be used for this application. It will seep into cracks and holes and dry to a watertight waterproof finish. It is available in many colors one of which is white. This product can be removed with the use of solvents like denatured alcohol or mineral spirits but sometimes those solvents can be harmful to a given surface. Before using this product be sure to read and follow the instruction. I would recommend testing the experience of spraying this product on a separate surface before using it on the desired surface. Everyone has used spray paint before but spraying liquid rubber can be a different experience and it is one worth trying before you execute the project. This product needs to be applied to a clean dry surface a think layer at a time with time in between for each layer to dry. It takes about 24 hours for the product to dry completely. We would recommend choosing between these two products for this project. We typically do not recommend a single product for a project recommendation because there are usually other impending factors known only to the customer.3 years agoHelpful?

Silicon Will not hold to any surface

Not working, the spray will become a silicon but will not attract to any surface, don’t spend your money on it.
