Q: Is there an Efficiency discrepancy between 19" & 16" sizes? I understand difference between these 2measurements; however, what about EFFICIENCY usage as a whole: Heat given off, burn ratio/cost of pellets, probable reasonable usage of product(heat/cook).

Q: I would like to know if I can use this to heat food in a sauce pot during outages of electricity. I don't want to cook on it like a grill, just heat canned food that I can put in a sauce pot. I would use a grill top on top of it and not fill it as full
5 years ago- A: Many customers have reported to us that they have used their Flame Genie’s to BBQ. While we do not market the product as a BBQ customers have found that they can place a round grill on top of the Flame Genie’s once the flames have subsided. With the FG-16-SS you will normally have high heat for about one half hour after the flame subside if you started with the Flame Genie filled to the “fill line” in the beginning. We have never tested the product for cooking but this heat should be enough to heat food in a sauce pan.5 years agoHelpful?
