Q: has any one used this successfully? My tank developed a leak at manufacturing seam about 14 months after buying. I'm going to try to contact Fimco and ask for either replacement tank or free patch.

It uses a 3” x 6” chemical-resistant patch that can be cut to size, and it cures in just 10–20 minutes when exposed to direct sunlight or an UV flashlight (any unused portion can be resealed in its pouch for future use).
