This Wire-Fence Stretcher works with any wire 1.5mm to 6mm (17gauge to 14 gauge)! It also holds wire securely to free both hands for splicing wire. The tool is capable of versatile operation - you can swivel easily for left or right-handed operation. It is constructed of heavy-duty carbon steel. Fence stretcher

Good product does what it’s supposed to but have to grind the teeth deeper to make it hold the wire. Otherwise the wire slips when tightening. If you don’t grind it you have to hold the locking mechanism and tighten at the same time.

Wish I would of read reviews before purchase. Pressed in roller failed first stretch fell out of frame. I did return it and money returned to card. I borrowed neighbors old rusty one and finished job.

This product is cheaply made and broke on the very first short pull of barbed wire. I wish I had spent the extra $15 for a genuine goldenrod.
