The Farnam Quietex II Horse Focusing and Calming Paste helps keep horses focused and composed in stressful situations. Calming supplements for horses won't cause drowsiness or affect performance. Quietex II contains a unique combination of seven active ingredients in easy-to-give pellets. Equine calming supplements are excellent for heavy training, performance activities, competition, racing and trailering. These supplements work in just two hours and won't cause drowsiness or impede performance.

- Directions for use: Administer contents of syringe directly into horse's mouth and when possible to the back of tongue
- For performance horses: 1 full syringe 2 hours before training or competition or as regulations allow
- For transporting horses: 1 full syringe 2 hours before loading and 1 full syringe every 8 hours if transporting is prolonged
- Unique combination of ingredients in these calming supplements for horses is proven to help horses stay focused and alert during training and competition
- Ideal for traveling, competition, heavy training, veterinarian, farrier or dental visits

Active Ingredients (Per ounce/scoop):
L-Tryptophan: 2,500 mg, Thiamine: 1,000 mg, Inositol: 1,000 mg, Riboflavin: 500 mg, Magnesium: 400 mg, Vitamin B 6: 400 mg, Valerian root extract: 36 mg
Inactive Ingredients:
Alfalfa Meal, Distillers Dried Grains, Mineral Oil, Wheat Middlings.

Administer the contents of the syringe directly into the horse's mouth and when possible to the back of the tongue. For Performance Horses: 1 full syringe 2 hours before training or competition or as regulations allow. For Transporting Horses: 1 full syringe 2 hours before loading and 1 full syringe every 8 hours if transporting is prolonged.

Farnam Quietex Paste

I like the availability of the product, since you don’t need a veterinarian’s prescription to buy it. It works fine for just a slight calming affect nothing too heavy, I would recommend for maybe stressful hauling situations. Easy to use since it’s in a tube.

I really like the syringe, it made it so easy to apply on his treats and the last in his cheek. It helped calm him down just before the farrier arrived. Lasted long enough to have his hooves taken care of.

In all honesty I saw zero difference. I was a little bummed out but I still appreciate being able to try difference things with out cost. The box is not hard to open and it's over al an easy application for your horse but it just didn't work.
