The Farnam Quietex II Horse Focusing and Calming Paste helps keep horses focused and composed in stressful situations. Calming supplements for horses won't cause drowsiness or affect performance. Quietex II contains a unique combination of seven active ingredients in easy-to-give pellets. Equine calming supplements are excellent for heavy training, performance activities, competition, racing and trailering. These supplements work in just two hours and won't cause drowsiness or impede performance.

  • Directions for use: Administer contents of syringe directly into horse's mouth and when possible to the back of tongue
  • For performance horses: 1 full syringe 2 hours before training or competition or as regulations allow
  • For transporting horses: 1 full syringe 2 hours before loading and 1 full syringe every 8 hours if transporting is prolonged
  • Unique combination of ingredients in these calming supplements for horses is proven to help horses stay focused and alert during training and competition

Helps my mare

I used this for my mare who is physically uncomfortable with trims. The farrier does a great job in accommodating her limitations but she still gets anxious and expects pain. This eases her nerves and the trims are going very well.

Works really well! It calms them and helps them focus instead of sedating them and being out of reality. I found it most effective to give before a stressful event.

Works better than Expected.

We have a OTTB that was diagnosed with EPM, after all the meds to treat EPM it upset her stomach and caused ulcers, after fixing the EPM and Ulcers this mare would have high anxiety about competing. This has helped her realize she has her balance back and her stomach doesn't hurt and start focusing back on running barrels. She is calmly walking into the arena again and has quit having anxiety attacks. A friend recommended this product and it works very well for our mare.

Seems to ease the tummy some

I think this eases an upset tummy some but I’m not sure how much. I had a horse who was trying to sand colic, so I did everything in my power to make her feel better. After a week of using this Quietex, along with SandClear & Bute & pushing water & force walking she finally felt better. I think it helped but I also used it with a combination of other things. I’m sure it helped.
