However, nearly all of our fully automatic battery chargers will automatically detect and desulfate a connected battery if necessary. - A: This is a manual battery charger and engine starter. There is a charge rate selector switch that allows the user to choose between charge, boost, and engine start modes; a timer switch; and an ammeter gauge. There is no way to charge without using the timer.a year agoHelpful?

Piece of CRAP

The switch to turn the unit on broke in the first month. You go to set it and it it clicks off. Now the know just spins around and won't turn on at all. My old one 20+ years... this on one month. Disgusting company. Tractor Supply should be ashamed for selling this brand of trash.
America.... we don't make anything any more and import landfill garbage.
