Great shirt but sizes run VERY small

I ordered my mom (usually a large) an XL just to be on the safe side. When I first opened the tshirt, I thought they might have sent a medium - even this XL was not going to fit her. I am returning the XL and, because the sizing looks so off, I ordered her the 3XL, because once she washes it, even in cold, it may shrink a little, and a 2x would then become too tight. But if your mom loves her dog and wine more than you, she will love this. lol.
