This EZ-Straw 11 lb. Lawn Repair Grass Seed Mix has been tested and proven to work faster and cover twice as much area as leading brands. It includes 10% more grass seed than suggested to ensure the best results. Just spread the mix, then water! Organic fertilizer helps the lawn grow lush and green. The natural tacking substance helps the mix stay in place. Beautiful grass in approximately seven to ten days! 11 lb.

- A: Hello, Thank you for your question. This product contains a mix of Creeping Red Fescue, Kentucky Bluegrass and Turf-type Perennial Ryegrass. For best results, it is recommended to plant while temperatures are in the range of 61°F-70°F. When temperatures are hotter you will just want to increase your watering schedule and this grass blend will hold up well. After growth, it is said to be heat-resistant and will tolerate hotter days with sufficient watering.2 years agoHelpful?
Q: All I need is a bag of this, and put it on a few of my bare spots in yard and it will start to grow in a few days, the seed and fertilizer is already in the bag of straw.

Surprising results

Just my luck... I treated several areas of my lawn with this product and then we get a cold snap with temps at night down into the 20's.
I wasn't holding out much hope, but 2 weeks later, I'm starting to see green shoots coming up.
I've tried planting Bermuda and Fescue seeds with virtually no results. This product is the first one that I've had success with even with the cold snap.
I would definitely recommend this product.

The worst thing ever!!!!

We live in Collierville,Tn. Planted in early April. Planted part the yard with Pennington Rye and the other with this stuff. The straw is a waste of money and time. Pennington grass i saw results in 7 days. By week 3 i needed to pull out the lawn mower. The straw just left the yard with dirt spots with straw on top. For the 3 bundles i bought of the straw i could have bought a 50 lb bag of Pennington Rye. Don't waste your time!!!
