Special Precautions

• Avoid exposure to Excede if you have known cephalosporin or penicillin hypersensitivity.
• Do not administer to swine with known hypersensitivity.
• Do not slaughter for at least 14 days after the final dose.

Overdose Information

Immediately contact your closest emergency animal hospital or vet.

Side Effects

Excede for Swine is typically well-tolerated. In a study of injection site tolerance, half of the injection sites at 3 and 7 days after injection were found to be negative for irritation, and the other half was noted to have slight irritation. After 10 days, no injection site reactions were noted.

Aside from the potential for injection site irritation, no side effects are known.
