These feeding guidelines are a starting point, your dog may need more or less food depending on the intensity & duration of activity and the environmental conditions. We recommend daily feeding amounts be divided into at least 2 meals. Meals should be at least 3 hours before sporting or working activities and at least 2 hours after the activity. Feed this food to highly active dogs of 1 year or older. Ensure fresh drinking water is available to your pet at all times. Because Eukanuba products are complete and balanced, you do not need to add vitamin or mineral supplements. If you have any questions about your pet's health, consult your veterinarian.
We recommend at least a 7 day transition before you begin feeding the new food exclusively. Start by mixing 75% of the old diet with 25% of the new diet on Day 1 and Day 2. On Day 3 and Day 4, mix 50% of the old diet with 50% of the new diet. On Day 5 and Day 6, mix 25% of the old diet with 75% of the new diet. On the 7th day, you can feed the new food exclusively. This allows your pet's digestive system to smoothly adapt to the new food.
