A: Ethanol Shield Fuel Stabilizer (ES) is an alcohol-free fuel treatment that help control water issues in fuel. It is primarily a PREVENTATIVE fuel stabilizer and PROTECTANT, helping keep fuel fresh, protect against corrosion and ethanol-related problems, and help control water before it becomes a problem or phase separates (water falls out of suspension in gasoline). It is designed for EVERYDAY equipment use all year and in equipment or containers during storage. For everyday equipment use (e.g. power equipment, motorcycles, ATVs) use 1 ounce per 2.5 gallons. Keep it in the gas feeding the equipment and in the tanks during use. For STORAGE use a higher concentration of 1 oz per gallon by pouring into the tank and running it through the fuel system before storing. Since gasoline in automotive/marine engines tends to be run through more often, use 1 ounce per 10 gallons for automotive and 1 oz per 5 gallons for marine. It does not physically remove / delete the water in the tank; instead, it encapsulates/disperses free water and puts it back into suspension with the fuel so it can safely pass through the fuel system and be eliminated through combustion.

A: For stabilization lasting up to 3 years, the ratio is 1 ounce of Ethanol Shield per gallon of fuel. This 24-ounce bottle is formulated to treat up to 240 gallons of fuel in total.

A: For up to 3 year stabilization, add 1 ounce Ethanol Shield per gallon of fuel. Run/prime into the fuel system and carburetor.

A: Generally, there is no shipping charge for picking up online orders at your local store, as long as the item is eligible for free "Pickup In Store" or "Ship to Store" service, which can be seen during checkout.

A: Depending on the usage, it will vary. For normal type usage follow the initial instructions on the bottle for "All gas engines" of 1 oz per 2.5 gallons. If you are planning on store the piece of equipment for the season, follow the instructions on the bottle for "Storage" of 1oz to 1 gallon. Also, if you are planning on storing it, we do not recommend storing it with an empty fuel tank, as it will give the maximum amount of surface area for condensation to happen. We suggest filling up the fuel tank as mush as possible and using the Ethanol Shield at the "Storage" ratio listed above.

A: We recommend you use 1oz to 2.5 gallons of fuel, but a 1oz to 1 gal ratio will work as well as you can not overdose with the product.

A: Yes, you must add 2 stroke oil to your gasoline mix as Ethanol Shield is not a replacement for the 2 stroke oil.
