- A: As an all-purpose fertilizer, Plant-Tone can be used anywhere in the garden on trees, flowers or vegetables. Apply on trees and shrubs in spring and late fall and on flowers and vegetables once per month during growing season4 years agoHelpful?
Q: My 4 lab retrievers are attracted to the smell, and want to eat it. I used it yesterday and we had lots of rain last nite. I watered again today. The dogs went right to it. Will it harm them?

- A: It shouldn't harm them at all, they are attracted to it because of the organics used. We just suggest if they eat it to give them plenty of water. This is the manufacturer's recommendation on from their website under standard FAQ: "By design, we do not handle any material deemed hazardous or toxic by the US EPA. While our products can be used in areas where children and pets play, one must always be alert for possible allergic reactions. In that case, wash off any material from the person or animal and remove them from the proximity. Consult a doctor or veterinarian if needed."6 years agoHelpful?
