TREX 6325 Spikeless Traction Devices for boots and shoes reduce the risk of slips and injuries by providing spike-free traction on slick surfaces, particularly water, snow and slush. Powered by Soles by Michelin (SBM), these are the industry's most advanced spikeless traction devices. Designed for work environments where spiked ice cleats are not preferred, these shoe and boot grips make for easy and safe transition between indoor and outdoor use without scratching surfaces. To achieve superior traction without spikes, the soles are constructed with SBM ice and outdoor rubber compoundthe same innovative technology found in their winter driving tires. Tested to be flexible in temperatures as low as -40°F (-40°C) for the sling and -20°F (-29 °C) for the sole, the stretchable rubber material provides a secure fit and easy slip-on/off wear. Three distinct traction features enable optimal wear in any indoor or outdoor condition: WATER

Strategically placed grooves allow for efficient water evacuation when pressure is applied. Preventing water build up is particularly beneficial on smooth indoor surfaces.

SNOW

The tread is designed with block sipings that create additional surface area for increased grip on snowy surfaces.

SLUSH

Micro-pumps increase adhesion by properly distributing pressure to maintain high surface contact on slushy surfaces.

Available in multiple sizes, these slip-on ice cleats will fit over any style of boot or shoe for traction and stability on slick surfaces. Tested to be flexible in temperatures as low as -40°F (-40°C) for the sling and -20°F (-29 °C) for the sole, the stretchable rubber material provides a secure fit and easy slip-on/off wear.

SIZING

Available in multiple sizes, these slip-on slings will fit over any style of boot or shoe for traction and stability on slick surfaces. TREX traction should fit snugly on your boot or shoe. A stretchy, one-piece design with adjustable cord cinches tight for a secure fit. Use your boot/shoe size to determine the approximate size.

Good Concept. Don't Stay Centered on Tennis Shoes

We bought several sizes of these to trial when roof access is needed in the winter with snow and ice. The roof system varies from flat to a low-slope roof. Love the concept. The problem we are seeing is the bottom grip doesn't stay centered with safety toe tennis shoes. It shifts to one side or the other then providing an uneven walking surface. Given this, I cannot recommend them at this time for going on a similar roof system.

No, I do not recommend this product.

Appreciate the feedback and will certainly take it into consideration when developing or updating products in this line! Above trying out the various sizes for the best fit, we recommend pulling the adjustable cinch cord as tight as possible to eliminate space between the device and sole of your shoe. This should minimize shifting.

Major upgrade to ice traction

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The trex are a great addition to my work gear. I am on a lot of different job sites around Wisconsin and the weather is always changing. These traction devices are awesome for not having to take them on and off all the time being that they are spikeless. The ease of taking them on and off is another bonus. I tried them on all different boot styles and was able to get them on and off all styles of boots. When traction gets suspect I reach for these trex instead of my old style with the metal spikes. Another bonus is that they don’t rust like some other styles causing less mess as well.

Yes, I recommend this product.

We get ice in Tennessee. Honest!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Winter ice in West Tennessee is either nonexistent or catastrophic. We haven't learned how to winter like well-balanced adults. So, it may be forever until I really get to see how well these work; it could also be tomorrow. Having had the joy of sliding on my belly down the slope of my driveway into the street in the dark, clutching for dear life to my now slightly-less-full trash can, praying that no one drives over the crest of the hill and over my helpless person, I have learned the value of good traction, so I was eager to get my hands on these, however infrequent my need for them might be. They aren't something I would want to take on and off with any regularity (these don't just slide on like an overshoe. It took a little effort to get them into place), but as a put it on and leave it on item, I think that they will do nicely. Once situated, they hold fast to my boots like they are an actual part of them. They do not squish around independently, which would compromise your footing. The rubber tread has a nice softness and flexibility to it which should lend itself to keeping rubber on the road, so to speak, but not leaving a mark on interior floors.

Yes, I recommend this product.

Super sticky, like a winter tire for your foot

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] You'd think a boot would already have enough traction to handle a Minnesota winter but most won't hold up to the packed in snow and ice we see here. These bad boys really are sticky and keep you from slipping too much. There's no such thing as perfect traction technology in terms of footwear but this is the best I've found. As a dog walker, I need something that stays on my boot, doesn't wreck floors when I go inside, and keeps me from slamming my tailbone onto the solid ice covered sidewalks. So far, this I'm incredibly satisfied!

Yes, I recommend this product.
