It's important to establish a consistent feeding and cleaning schedule for your pet. For parrots over 13", provide 1/2 to 1 cup of food and parrots under 13", provide 1/2 cup of food daily. Always supply fresh, clean drinking water. For optimal freshness, store in a cool, dry area before and after opening. Refrigerate for extended storage.
To prevent a digestive upset, it is best to acclimate your pet bird to the new food over a 10-day period.
The first three days, feed a mixture of 3/4 current food and 1/4 Encore Premium Food.The next three days, feed 1/2 current food and 1/2 of Encore Premium Food.The last three days, feed a mixture of 3/4 Encore Premium Food and 1/4 of the current diet mixture.After 10 days you can supply only Encore Premium Food to your Parrot as its main diet.
