- A: It can be planted in either spring or fall. In spring, I would recommend planting the wildflowers when the daytime air temperatures are consistently over 60 degrees. For planting in fall, we recommend waiting until it’s cold enough so the seeds won’t germinate (~ground temp 45 degrees).7 months agoHelpful?

So many flower varieties!

Although it did take a bit longer to bloom then I anticipated, when they did come in the flowers were quite stunning. In 5C I planted in May and they bloomed in OCTOBER! Delphinium, aster, daisies, cosmos, poppy, marigold, knights spur, clover, zinnia, catchflies and so many more.

Too much clover

Clover absolutely took over. Very few Zinnias or any other variation of flowers, likely due to the cover from the clover.
I have used other types of these seeds before, and had better luck.
No, I do not recommend this product.

Colorful Variety!

Loved my wildflower mix. I spread a bag of the cut flower mix, as well as a bag of the pollinator mix. It definitely took several weeks before I felt like there was any height growing, but once the flowers got some height on them they absolutely took off! Stayed bloomed all summer and fall until our first frost killed them. Bought again for this spring and summer and I’m excited to plant.
