The Dremel EZ Lock Finishing Abrasive Buff includes two versatile sanding buffs in one convenient package. Great for detail cleaning, light sanding, furniture refinishing, or paint removal on delicate materials, this finishing buff is ultra-versatile. Dremel's buff tool can be used on metal, glass, hard or softwood, steel, aluminum or plastics. The set includes a very fine 15/16 In. (23.8mm) 180 grit buff and an extra fine 15/16 in. (23.8mm) 280 grit buff.

Model number 511E shares two different grit sizes: the 180 grit (brownish) should be classed as ‘course’, not ‘very fine’, and the 280 grit (greyish) should be classed as ‘medium’, not ‘Extra Fine’. The separate 512E is the 320 grit (purplish), which is correctly classed as ‘Fine’. Hope that’s helpful.

Super easy to use with great results. not only is the 511E great for buffing and polishing but its also awesome at removing sicker residue from lables. Additionally I found it great at removing burrs after making cuts and drilling light metals like aluminum and brass.
