I would not buy this product again.

Poured 1350ml, in 3 , 30min intervals of the cleaner as specified in the instructions. Let's it sit overnight and nothing happened. This was on a kitchen sink, 1.5 inch drain size and was poured through 2 inches of standing water.

No, I do not recommend this product.

We're sorry to hear this. Despite the fact that Drano® Max Gel often dissolves stubborn blockages brought on by hair, grease, and soap scum, we only advise using it twice. After two applications, we encourage you to contact a plumber, as the clog may be too deep for Drano® to clear. We'd like to chat with you further and see if we can be of assistance. Call us at 1-800-558-5252 (weekdays, 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. CT) and mention your reference number: 22510961. Hope to hear from you soon! - Mindi, SC Johnson Consumer Care

IT FINALLY WORKED!

I tried it the first time on our SUPER SLOW DRAINING shower floor. I got an 80oz bottle. On the first attempt, I poured maybe a third of the bottle to the drain. Waited 30 mins and then poured 4 gallons boiling water and it was still slowly draining. I was very disappointed. On the second attempt, I poured the rest of the bottle and went to sleep. Maybe 4-5 hours later I poured another 4 gallons of boiling water and everything flowed nicely. No more clogged.

Yes, I recommend this product.

I would not recommend or use this product again

I had a very slow moving drain. I followed directions exactly and put half a bottle in the sink, waited 30 minutes and put hot water down. Didn't work, so followed the directions that said if it doesn't work first time repeat so I did, now my slow moving drain is completely clogged.

No, I do not recommend this product.

Thank you for reaching out. We're so sorry to hear Drano® Max Gel didn't perform as we'd expect. Usually, Drano® cuts right through tough clogs to blast them fast and doesn't make things worse. As this wasn't the case, we'd like to learn more about your experience and get the chance to help. At your convenience, give us a ring at 1-800-558-5252 (weekdays, 8 a.m. - 5 p.m.) and provide reference number: 22353703. Hope to hear from you soon. - Megan, SC Johnson Consumer Care

Drain Unclogging Attempt

I believe I followed the instructions correctly when attempting to unclog the drain. I poured the entire contents of a small bottle of Drano Max Gel Clog Remover down the drain. After applying the drain cleaner, I allowed 30 minutes for the chemicals to work on dissolving the clog as per the product directions. Once the recommended soak time elapsed, I used the shower faucet to flush the drain line with water. However, I only ran the hot/warm water for approximately 1 minute to rinse out the chemicals and dissolved debris. Initially, the drain appeared to be unclogged and functioning properly after this treatment when I took a shower. Unfortunately, the drain has now become clogged again after 4 days of normal use. While I made an effort to follow the Drano usage instructions, the 1 minute hot water flush may have been insufficient to fully clear the drain line, leading to the clog re-forming quickly after just a few days of use.

No, I do not recommend this product.
