These brackets need to be redesigned to last

These brackets are junk. With everyone having issues with them why hasn't Dewalt had a recall and designed something that doesn't break after the first use. I'm not buying anymore and resorted to using a nail set to unlock the bracket so I can put the saw on and off the stand. Not an easy task at my age with a 60 lb. saw to balance.
No, I do not recommend this product.

Lock mechanism failed instantly.

Brackets broke right out of the box. Haven’t even mounted the saw yet. Now it’s unsafe to to even use.

Like other reviewers, the release levers failed and makes it dangerous or impossible to mount or dismount the saw from the stand, and they don't sell replacement parts, you have to buy the entire bracket as a pair if one fails. Love the saw, hate these plastic failure points.
