Stands the test of time

I bought this router pack maybe 10 or 15 years ago, and it's still going strong! It's not one of my everyday tools, but when I need it, it's easy to set up, holds its height without slipping, is pretty easy to adjust, and has enough power for anything I've thrown at it so far. Having the three different bases is super helpful. I can leave the fixed base in the router table and still have the D-handle or plunge base for portable routing. If I have any quibbles with it, it's that the adjustment ring has noticeable slop, so making fine adjustments can be a bit trying. Still, overall it's a fantastic product, like every DeWalt tool I own.

The price point is nice, everything feels sturdy and the router moves smoothly. Takes a little bit of a learning curve if you're not familiar with using a router, but I like this tool!
