This powerstack battery is excellent. It has great runtime and power. I also like how the battery life indicator lights stay on for a little bit after checking it. It doesn't work for my vacuum but it's not a deal breaker since I have other batteries that will work on it.

You are lucky if these batteries last a year. They just stop accepting a charge. They show no life on the fuel bar even if I t was fully charged when you put it away. The small ones work great but would not recommend these.

I recently got my hands on the DeWalt 20V 5Ah PowerStack batteries, and I gotta say, these things are awesome! First off, they pack a serious punch. I noticed right away that my tools had more oomph when using these batteries. They're not kidding when they say it's got 50% more power than regular 5Ah batteries. The best part? These batteries last way longer than my old ones. I can work for hours without needing to swap them out, which is a huge time-saver on big projects. And even though they're more powerful, they're actually a bit smaller than my old 6Ah batteries. This makes my tools feel more balanced and easier to handle, especially when I'm working in tight spots. I was worried about durability at first, but these PowerStack batteries are tough. They've got this rubber base that protects them if I accidentally drop them, and it keeps them from scratching up surfaces too. DeWalt says they last twice as long as regular batteries, and while I haven't had them long enough to confirm that, they're definitely holding up well so far. One thing I really appreciate is that these batteries work with all my other DeWalt 20V MAX tools and chargers. I didn't have to buy any new equipment to use them, which is great. Sure, they're a bit pricier than standard batteries, but in my opinion, they're worth every penny. The extra power, longer runtime, and compact size make a real difference in my work. If you use DeWalt tools regularly, I'd definitely recommend giving these PowerStack batteries a try. They've made my jobs easier and more efficient, and I think you'll notice the difference too.

Please be aware that the 20V MAX POWERSTACK battery does not fit all 20V DeWalt tools. I bought two 5Ah POWERSTACK batteries to replace the original 20V MAX battery. However, they do not fit into the battery slots of my DCV581H Vacuum or DCE511B Fan. The POWERSTACK batteries are slightly wider in dimensions and cannot snap into place to connect battery terminals.
