If you just need a compact tape measure for a quick measurement. This will be great. I especially like the magnetic back.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The blade is a solid stiff blade. It has a good standout, was able to get out to about 12'". Seems to be a very well built tape measure. The only downfall is the fractions printed on the blade, that causes confusion for some.

First off the tape lock is easily one of the best out there. It stays easy to turn on throughout use and dust getting inside. The finger groove is a nice touch although takes a little getting used too.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The first thing that stood out to me when receiving the DeWALT DWHT38125S 25-foot tape measure was the lack of "Atomic" branding on the outer casing. It certainly seems related to the Atomic series, but I think DeWALT is moving away from that branding, focusing instead on the compact design of this tape measure series. The retraction is fast (and I like that)! The standout was just over 10 feet for me on multiple attempts—an impressive length for this series. I appreciate the double-sided markings (both in imperial units), though I prefer having both imperial and metric for versatility (I realize that’s probably not the majority preference). The grip feels good and ergonomic. The locking button is easy to press and requires minimal effort. The lock is secure and holds tightly. The belt clip feels sturdy (I’m always worried about breaking it when removing it from the plastic packaging!), and there’s a simple screw for replacing it if needed. There’s a slot in the lower corner to loop it onto a tool harness or work bucket. Overall, this feels like a sturdy tape measure—durable, tough, and built to last for years. I’m also thankful for the lifetime warranty against defects. I have a DeWALT service center 20 minutes away, and they’re incredibly helpful if needed.
