DEWALT Abrasive Blast Cabinet (DXCM009-0370) is ideal for removing rust or paint from automotive parts & other equipment. This unit features a hood style door for easy loading and unloading, adjustable leg heights, a foot operated gun, a media vibrator for consistent flow, and a cyclone for dust management (bucket with lid for cyclone not included). The Blast Cabinet also has a 125 PSI max working pressure with an average consumption of 20 CFM at 90 PSI. 40 lb media capacity. The working area measures 30 in. L x 19 in. W x 18 in. H.

Q: This is listed as a complete abrasive package. After reading the reviews it appears it indeed does need a separate non supplied compressor to operate???? Please add this to the description!!!!!

Note, the cabinet needs a compressor to function and a vac is recommended without it visibility will be greatly reduced. Dewalt blast caninet working great!

Delivery was as expected - and no damage to the cabinet! Unlike other reviews I read here, my cabinet arrived intact and undamaged. Instructions weren't real clear for the assembly but I after I put the instructions aside and looked everything over, the assembly went along fine. I've used it several times now and it does the job just as I expected a Dewalt product to do. Pleased so far!

Good unit, bad packaging

I’ve only used it a couple times so far and it works great. This is the second one I got, the first one came damaged and was warped and a few holes would not line up. TSC did an awesome job of taking care of me and sending a replacement. The mfr does not package their product properly for shipment in my opinion.

Really nice unit but........

It arrived with a big dent on the side where the switch is for the light. I would say the box probably wasn't sufficient for the weight and when UPS probably dropped it on that side it put a dent in there however I don't want to go through a return process as we're going to be able to finish assembling it and put it together but I'm disappointed that I have a basically scratch and dent unit for a brand new price

the best thing i liked that made me buy this cabinet was that it was a complete setup with foot pedal, media vibrator
decent gun and front door opening all in one. it was shipped UPS to my store and had slight damage do to the one box it came in was to heavy , should have been shipped on a pallet or in multiple boxes.
the down side was the gas door springs (both) leaked oil out and would not hold door open, i had to go through hoops to get replacement sent as TSC, and Dewalt couldn't help so i had to go direct to the manufacturer.
once i got it all hooked up it worked good. It is advertised incorrectly as 20cfm, my compressor is max 11cfm and it worked great.
i did some other upgrades and i am satisfied with it. would i buy it again? Yes but TSC and DeWalt need to have replacement parts available such as gas springs, nozzles, and air jets available and easy to get other i would just got to HF and get there cabinet,
one last thing, it was advertised at $649.99 and the day after i picked it up it went on sale at $584.99 that is the only thing i am upset about.

It can be used with compressors rated below this value but air consumption may require intermittent usage (to allow the compressor to fill).
