Totally worthless for my intended use

I used an Irwin 5/8 black oxide drill bit for the last 6 years to size oblong off shaped holes. It has chipped occasionally but still did it's intended job while being abused heavily. It was replaced with this Dewalt bit which lasted for only a few minutes. Being the 2 drill bits where at a very similar price point I will probably never buy another dewalt drill bit. My dewalt tools are great, but thier tooling has been mediocre at best. Also, the shank is 1/2", and the quantity in this listing is stated as 2 which is incorrect.

Not a 3/8 shank so will not fit in 3/8 drill chuck it says reduced 3/8 So don’t buy unless you have a big enough drill chuck
