Problems on the first day

The reel started to jam up a little on second usage. The second line I snapped with it was around 25 feet and it jammed to the point that it took a minute to reel in After that it was only with difficulty that the reel worked.The line continued to work fine but it just wasn't worth the hassle to continue using it beyond day three I have always found De Walt tools ,both hand and power,to be reliable up to this point so it was very disappointing to have to junk this chalk line after three days I'll give De Walt tools a miss from now on

Easy to use

I bought this a while back when I was redoing my porch. When I cut boards they all keep coming out wrong! Wrong sizes the boards wouldn't fit! Then I bought this, perfect little easy to use right on the money measurements. Perfect cut pieces of wood. Any other home projects for hanging up stuff on the wall or anything I go straight to the garage and grab this!

Yes, I recommend this product.

Tough and worth the money.

I bought this a little bit of a year ago and it worked perfectly, heavy duty. I used it every day for my work to grid streets and big scale surfaces. the only problem now, a inside part fell off and the chalk doesn't stick to the string as before. I hope I can still replace it with the warranty.
