Achiever is a non-GMO forage balancer and great way to provide core nutrition in a whole food that is palatable to the horse. It is a complete source of chelated minerals and vitamins, amino acids and probiotics in a bioavailable form to the horse. Using this product, you can build a custom ration for each individual. Based on an 1100 lb. horse: Maintenance is 1 lb./day; Light Exercise 2 lbs/day, Medium Exercise 2 lbs/day, Heavy Exercise 2.6 lbs/day, Pregnant Mares 1.5lbs/day. It is recommended that this feed be weighed.
It is suggested that changing a horses diet take place over a 10 day period. First measure the new and the old feed for the day, then take 1/4 of the old feed away and add in 1/4 of the new feed - hold for 3 days. Then go half and half for 3 days. Then 3/4 of the new and 1/4 of the old feed and on the 10th day, use 100% of the new.
