The active ingredient in Cyclavance, cyclosporine, is effective in the treatment dermatitis and works quickly to reduce itching and help lesions heal.

Special Precautions

Cyclavance is only for use in dogs at least 6 months old and weighing a minimum of 4 pounds. It should not be used in pregnant, nursing, or breeding dogs. Dogs with a history of neoplasia or sensitivity to cyclosporine should not be given Cyclavance. Dental issues and GI issues may occur in pets taking Cyclavance. Reach out to your veterinarian if you detect these problems in your pet. Always wear gloves when administering Cyclavance and wash hands immediately after handling the product. In the case of ingestion by a human, seek medical attention right away.

Side Effects

The most common adverse effects were vomiting and diarrhea. In the majority of cases, those symptoms resolved on their own with continued use of Cyclavance.

Storage

STORAGE INFORMATION: CYCLAVANCE (cyclosporine oral solution) USP MODIFIED should be stored and dispensed in the original container at temperatures between 68-86°F (20-30°C). Do not refrigerate because a precipitate may be observed below 68°F (20°C). Once opened, use contents within 12 weeks.
