Mulch kit leaves operator covered in clippings

I just bought this xt2 lx54 and cut for the first time. I was covered in clippings and had to blow the dust out of my nose. Is there a solution?

I'm amazed at the number of bad reviews from people who, judging by the photos, have installed the plug incorrectly. If you follow simple directions, it's nearly perfect. Also, the deck is not sealed to the ground and there will always be some dust. You're cutting a lawn. This kit works very well when used properly. No lines and as far as power, I've added 2 photos... thick leaves and a single pass. Nothing wrong with this mulch kit.
Yes, I recommend this product.
