Rated 5 out of 5 by from Good pin, lousy service The pin itself was exactly what I needed, hence the five star review. My local Tractor Supply store, on the other hand, is a disaster. This is the second item in six months that they didn't stock. All the other stores in my area carried the product. My local store is not exactly in "tractor country" which is why I think that they don't carry what I need. So why then can't I at least order this thing online to be shipped to my home?

What is the force or poundage before the pin will sheer?

Asked by: Bill22
The pin does not have a measured sheer point. It is made to be a connection point between two pieces of welded metal. It is made of 1020 steel, is not heat treated, and has a hardness rating of 64.
