- A: County Line Lawnmower oil is formulated for use in 4 stroke engines. It is suitable for use in Briggs & Stratton engines.. If you are using the lawn mower in colder temperatures, you may want to use a County Line or Traveller multi viscosity engine oil2 months agoHelpful?

Q: Is this just car oil? It says it meet API SN specifications, which indicates it has lower zinc levels Small engine oils usually have increased zinc levels.

- A: The majority of quality small engine oils meet an API passenger car engine oil specification as they both require similar chemistry to provide optimum engine protection. The statement about small engines requiring increased levels of zinc are off base a bit. New technologies being introduced to small 4 stroke engines are leading to manufacturers recommending use of oils with lower ash levels and zinc directly contributes to ash formation inside a combustion chamber. New anti-wear chemistry to replace zinc are being introduced to this sub market as a result.6 years agoHelpful?
