Q: I’ve got a 9” auger. I got cutting bits. They have 2 bolt holes. Mine are a single bolt with an edge drop so to not spin if bolt loosened up.

1 Answer
  • A: The single teeth that the customer has can be used on the 9” auger, and other auger sizes, they just need to make sure they get the correct quantity of teeth for the auger diameter that they have

This replacement part did not fit.

These cutting edges did not fit the original equipment. The store staff tried to provide advice and smaller bolts so we could use them but the result was weaker. I think corporate has learned of the problem and will soon have the right replacement parts in stock.

IT strikes again-

Continuing their traditionally incomplete job at IT, there were no pics so I didn’t know these had 2 bolt holes when Tractor supply auger bits have one. These will have to be returned.

Unsure what these fit....

Not sure what auger these cutters are for but they would not fit my 3pt 6" auger bit I bought from TSC. I returned them and bought the correct ones somewhere else as the store clerk said they don't stock the ones I needed.
