Once established, these cold-tolerant garden plants can bloom up to three times in a growing season with fragrant, foot long pods of purple-blue flowers. Wisteria deciduous vines are outdoor flowering plants that can be pruned and trained during winter dormancy. These plants are best grown in USDA hardiness zones 3-9.
