Bursting into bloom in the spring and fall, the azalea plant bears an abundance of lightly-scented, trumpet-shaped blossoms atop glossy green foliage. The pink azalea flower grows as a compact, mounding shrub, making it perfect for borders, mass plantings, foundations, woodland gardens and shady beds. Like most Azaleas, it performs best in filtered afternoon sun and thrives in moist, acidic soil.
